Resource Recovery Centre

Client: NAWMA Project Type: Commercial Location: Elizabeth West, South Australia

Project Summary:

The Resource Recovery Centre was designed from the ground up by BGi Building Group to house a resource collection, sorting and sales hub.

BGi developed all concept drawings and engineering with close consultation from future tenants and landlords. A team of consultants were engaged by BGi for the electrical, mechanical and fire design to ensure the project was feasible and met all requirements of council and private certifiers.

The centre was constructed from a combination of structural steel, cladding, and precast separation wall and designed to house a drop-off sorting zone, office/training space and sales areas for the recycled products.

The project was delivered on time and within budget to ensure all interested parties gained maximum return and efficiency with the custom-designed Recovery centre.
