Murray Street Vineyard

Client: Murray Street Vineyard Project Type: Winery Location: Greenock, South Australia

Project Summary:

Located on elevated land overlooking the hamlet of Greenock, Murray Street Vineyards winery is a stunning complex design to suit the region and clients’ specific needs.

BGi Building Group collaborated closely with architects JBG and the owners to complete this 6000sqm winery. The building sits proudly above the dry-grown visteel working, a combination of structural and cold-form steelwork, old red brick quoins, and sandblasted precast panels.

The entrance of the building consists of a large open foyer, then narrows to workspaces off to each side with elevated offices looking over the production area.

The Winery buildings continue to the rear with a symmetrical barrel, finished goods hall, and a large central crushing and processing area.

BGi Building was engaged as the winery's principal builder and project manager.
